Consider requesting a mobile home with a fully functioning kitchen to avoid cooking in another unit during your stay.

The location is stunning with beautiful countryside views. The on-site pub offered tasty meals at reasonable prices, but I encountered some cleanliness issues in the caravan, like dead flies upon arrival.

Family with children Suitable getaway
The two outdoor pools were fun! but they were super cold, tremendous surprise for the kids. And the staff at the Pennine View restaurant were truly friendly! Their meals were delicious. I mean, epic.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable.

Nice place for family fun!
We had a great time at the mobile home! Fab views and the pools were a real hit with the kids. Staff were super nice too. Just a heads up, some kitchen stuff could’ve been cleaner. The arcade machines were kinda iffy, which was a bummer.

The mobile home was well-equipped with a kitchen, fridge, and even a TV. Plenty of space for all four of us. My kids loved the park area. it kept them entertained for hours. Dinner at the restaurant was surprisingly quick and the food was high quality, no complaints there. we had to bring our own bedding, which made our luggage a bit cramped for the drive. The outdoor pools were supposed to be heated, but they were definitely chilly. The sofa bed was a disaster though. it didn't lay flat, so sleeping on it felt awkward and uncomfortable. I'd suggest opting for the kids to use the sofa bed while the adults take the regular beds. The surrounding area was nice with good walking paths nearby. Appleby village had some charming spots and shops. Could have used a bit more attention to cleanliness, especially in the kitchenware. some items were not as clean as expected. pretty decent stay despite the few hiccups.

While the home was spacious, the kitchen lacked essential items, like adequate cutlery and cleaning supplies, which meant we had to do a lot of washing up after each meal. we encountered some cleanliness issues upon arrival, such as dust on headboards and items left on the floor, which was a tad disappointing. The pool opened late in May, so if you plan a trip earlier in the season, be prepared for possible swim disappointments. the patios had no outdoor furniture, so plan ahead if you want to enjoy the fresh air as seating is on you.

The Gemini pods were a hit with the kids, and having a well-equipped kitchen made things easier for family meals.
Facilities could use some updates.
